What type of longarm services do you provide?
Edge to Edge. That means the pattern will be uniform across the quilt. I do not currently do custom longarm quilting.
How much does it cost?
2.4 cents/sq inch of your top. That means if your top measures 40×60 it would cost $57.60. You can request the pattern you choose to be quilted looser or tighter than normal, costing 2.2 and 2.8 cents/sq inch, respectively. **There is a minimum cost of $45 regardless of size.
-You can purchase the batting from me if you choose. Since I buy batting in bulk, it is often cheaper (and easier for you) to just get it from me.
-You can also request I iron your backing for a $15 fee.
-The only other cost would be shipping. If you are shipping your quilt to me, you pay to ship it both ways.
I am booking my quilt online and mailing it to you/dropping it off at your location in Grand Rapids, MI. How does that work?
When you Book Your Quilt I will get notified, and will email you my address so you can ship it/drop it off.
When I get your quilt, I will email you again notifying you I received it.
On the day it is being quilted, I will post pictures/videos of your quilt on Instagram and Facebook (unless you have requested I not). Be sure to follow me so you will know it will be ready soon!
When it is finished I will email you again with payment details. Once you have paid, I will ship it back to you, or if you dropped it off, let you know it is ready to be picked up.
I am dropping my quilt off at a local quilt store for you to longarm. How does that work?
Let the store know you are dropping off a quilt for me to longarm.
Fill out the Book Your Quilt paper for, or preferably fill out the form here online.
Each store works a little differently, and they should be able to explain how the process works from there.
I will still email you when I receive your quilt, post to social so you can see I’m working on it, and email you when it is ready to be picked up at the store.
How should I prepare my quilt?
Great question! Please be sure to check out the Quilt Prep page to read about what you need to do before you send in your quilt.
Will you piece my backing?
I’m sorry, I do not currently provide that service. If you do have to piece your backing, make sure your seems are horizontal for best results!
Will you press my quilt?
I will press your backing for $15, but I do not press tops. Please make sure your top is pressed before sending it to me.
Will you bind my quilt?
I’m sorry, I do not currently provide that service.
Can I mail my quilt to you?
Absolutely! I provide longarm quilting services locally in West Michigan, and all across North America! Please mail your quilt in a plastic bag (to prevent exposure to moisture during shipping) inside a cardboard box. When your quilt is finished, I will ship your quilt back to you via USPS Priority shipping. The cost of shipping will be added to the cost of services. You pay for shipping both ways.
How long will it take?
I pride myself on a fast turnaround. That being said, turnaround times fluctuate throughout the year. Be sure to check the Home Page to see current turnaround times. That time does not account for the time it takes to ship or drop off.
When and How do I pay?
When your quilt is done, you will receive an email from square. It will look something like this:

Click on “Invoice” and you will have the option to pay via a Debit/Credit Card, CashApp, Bank (ACH), or with a Gift Card. When your payment clears, I will send you an email letting you know when it will be shipped/when it is ready to be picked up!
Do you provide batting?
Yes! You can purchase your batting from me, or provide your own. I currently have Hobbs 80/20 and Hobbs Cotton.
I received a Gift Card to your shop! How do I use it?
Lucky you! When your quilt is finished, you will receive an email invoice from Square. (See above “When and How Do I Pay”) When you open the invoice you will have the option to pay using your gift card information! See image below for an example.
